→ 2. Micro-Structure

The grinding of the back of the arrowhead reveals the micro-structure of the copper alloy. Magnification of the surface confirms that the arrowhead took its form at the very moment of casting. There was no forging or hammering of the alloy after it became solid. The metallic crystal of the alloy froze as it originally formed nearly 2,000 years ago. There has been no change since the very moment when the arrowhead took its shape in the casting mold of ancient America.
